Roll camera. Action!

We're a twelve-person production crew making commercials, brand films, music videos and social content. We hear the idea from you, then take the film from script to colour grade around one table.

Every job moves through five stops. Click a clip on the timeline to see what happens at that stage and what you walk away with.

01

1-3 working days

Brief

We sit down and talk through the problem, the audience, the budget and the air date. Within the same week we send a written creative approach and a rough schedule; if it doesn't land, you pay nothing.

The kit room

We mostly shoot on our own kit. Rather than trusting a hire list, we know every body, every lens and every microphone on the shelf.

What they said after the wrap

01 / 03

At the brief they told us "this idea won't fit in thirty seconds", and they were right. They shot two versions; the forty-five-second cut went to air and carried the whole campaign.
Fiona StewartMarketing manager, Harbour Roast
We had one night for the video. At four in the morning the sparks were still reworking the lighting and nobody moaned once. Everyone has seen the result.
Mhairi QuinnSinger, Thistle Records
The words "corporate film" used to make my heart sink. They found a way to get our people talking easily on camera, and we've watched it internally more times than I can count.

05FAQ

Common questions

How long does a commercial take?

A thirty-second commercial usually takes four to six weeks from brief to delivery. We've turned urgent jobs round in two; when that happens we shorten pre-production and bring in a second editor.

Our budget is tight. Can we still work together?

Yes. Tell us the budget up front and we'll shape the idea around it: fewer locations, a smaller crew, a single shoot day. Social packages start from around £2,250.

Who sorts out cast, locations and permits?

We do. We cast through our agency and send you a short casting reel. Council and private property permits, insurance and set safety all sit with our producer.

How many rounds of changes do we get?

Two rounds of edit changes and one round of grade changes are included. We don't count small fixes that don't need a script change.

Do we get the rushes?

If you'd like them, yes. We hand the rushes over on a drive or by cloud link after delivery, and keep our own archive copy for two years.

Do you shoot outside Edinburgh?

We do. In the past two years we've shot on Skye, in the Cairngorms, in Belfast and in Almería. Crew and kit travel in our own van; travel and accommodation show as a separate line on the quote.
