No middlemen, no cold store, no stock sitting around for months. Food leaves the producer and reaches your kitchen within two weeks.

Harvest
We buy from our producers in small lots every week. Nothing is stockpiled: what is in the jar was on the farm a few weeks ago.

Tasting and batch numbers
Every batch is tasted in Ayvalık, sent to the lab and labelled with the producer's name and a batch number.

Packed in Amsterdam
Jars travel in paper padding, cheese in insulated boxes with ice packs. We never use plastic fill.

Order by 2 pm on a weekday and it ships the same day. 1-2 working days to the Netherlands and Belgium, 2-4 across the rest of the EU.

Shipping, returns, chilled delivery

Everything ships from our Amsterdam warehouse, so there are no customs charges anywhere in the EU. Order by 2 pm on a weekday and it leaves the same day: 1-2 working days to the Netherlands and Belgium, 2-3 to Germany, France and Luxembourg, 3-5 to the rest of the EU. Shipping is free over €60, otherwise from €6.90.
Chilled products travel in an insulated box with ice packs that holds 2-8 °C for 48 hours. We only ship cheese Monday to Wednesday so it never sits in a depot over the weekend. Chilled delivery is available to the Benelux, Germany and France.
As it is food, we cannot take back opened products. If anything arrives broken, spoiled or missing, send us a photo and we will replace it free of charge. Unopened dry goods can be returned within 14 days.
There is no commitment. Write to us, or use the link in any of our emails, at least 5 days before the next box is packed. You can skip a box, change the size or cancel.
Tick "Gift wrap" in your bag and write a note. We never put prices in the parcel, and we write your note by hand on a kraft card.
We do. Restaurants, cafés, delis and small hotels get a monthly supply list and trade prices. Just choose "Trade" as the topic in the contact form.
